Contrary to traditional schools, Montessori cultivates a healthy acceptance of love for oneself. A child growing up in a Montessori environment, who has supportive parents and healthy family life tends to like him/herself and feels competent and capable. Our Montessori children are generally eager to take on the world and not scared of challenges, of learning or of personal growth. They like stretching their minds and feeling their strength. Montessori is the perfect warm, wholesome philosophy to facilitate optimal growth of the healthy, whole child.
